Internships
Highline is regularly approached by area employers who are eager to have our students intern or work permanently at their law offices.
An Internship is required in the curriculum at Highline and can be one of the most valuable courses in which students enroll. It is an excellent opportunity to gain legal experience, develop contacts and network, and enhance a resume. Internships performed by Highline students often directly or indirectly lead to employment opportunities.
Prior to enrolling in an Internship, students are required to register for the Pre-Internship seminar (Legal 139). That class provides students with the tools necessary to identify and locate an internship that matches the student’s goals and career plan.
For more information about internships and what you can do as an employer to become part of our internship program, please contact Che Dawson, our internship faculty advisor.
Postings
We have compiled a list of internships that are available to our students and alumni. Please contact the Paralegal coordinator for permission to enter our internship page site.
To our students and alumni: We make every effort to keep these postings updated. We review our postings regularly but there is a chance that some postings may be filled before our updating process is made. If you find that a position has been filled while inquiring or applying for it, we would greatly appreciate you informing us of this change.
Please email Sarah Delaplaine with any changes or questions.
